Hosting in France
Mnemory Notes’ active data is hosted by OVHcloud in the Gravelines (GRA) region of France. OVH SAS acts as a hosting processor under its contractual data protection commitments.
Encryption without misleading promises
Communications with the service are protected in transit by HTTPS. Backups are encrypted. However, Mnemory Notes is not an end-to-end encrypted service: the server must be able to read notes to display, search, index and export them.
A strictly authorised administrator could therefore technically access the data during a necessary security, support or recovery operation. Such access must remain exceptional, justified and limited.
Backup and recovery
Data is backed up in encrypted form, retaining seven daily, four weekly and twelve monthly backups. Integrity checks verify the database and associated files.
A backup reduces the risk of loss but does not guarantee instant recovery or the absolute absence of loss between backups. Recovery is a controlled operation. It must not reactivate a deleted account without a documented decision.
Portability
Notes remain exportable in open formats. Viewing, export and deletion remain available when the quota is reached and during the announced recovery period after the service ends.
No targeted advertising
Mnemory Notes uses no advertising trackers and does not sell the contents of notes. Service cookies are limited to session, security and continuity needs.
Report a vulnerability
A security issue can be reported to contact@mnemory.ai. Please do not include personal content or secrets in your first message.
In the event of an incident
iSDO assesses the incident, limits its effects, protects useful evidence, restores the service and documents decisions. When a data breach poses a risk, it is reported to the competent authority and, where required by law, to affected individuals with concrete protective measures.
