Mnemory Notes · Available

Your ideas, always within reach.

A private notebook to write, connect and find what matters. And, if you choose, keep working on your notes with ChatGPT or Claude.

A person organises ideas across a notebook, notes and a computer

It all begins on 28 November 1987.

That day, I open my first notebook. I record my reading, my discoveries, what I want to understand and remember. Science, technology, philosophy, medicine, current affairs: curiosity follows its own paths.

The notebooks multiply. Several dozen, over the years. I organise articles, classify them and create tables of contents. Yet finding a piece of information is sometimes still difficult. And this memory stays wherever the notebooks are. I cannot take them all with me.

Digital tools open up new possibilities. My notes become accessible from a phone or a computer. Above all, links transform how they are organised: one reading connects with another, an idea regains its context, previously separate pieces of knowledge speak to each other. Text can be enriched with images, sounds and videos. The notebook takes on a new dimension.

Mnemory grew out of this story. I can now develop the tool around the way I use it and bring in artificial intelligence to explore what my notes contain, connect ideas and inspire new thinking.

With one conviction: this memory must remain independent of the tool that holds it. Being able to keep it locally, host it or export it means keeping the freedom to sustain it over time.

Capture the idea

A meeting, a reading, a sudden thought: save it, then organise your notes into folders.

Pick up the thread

Search your notes and link useful material to return to a project with its context intact.

Stay in control

Your notes remain exportable in open Markdown format. You decide when and how to involve AI.

With ChatGPT and Claude

Switch assistants. Keep the context.

An idea from a conversation can become a lasting note, ready to find and expand from your other assistant. Less copying and pasting, less rebuilding context.

  3. In Mnemory Notes

Review, organise and keep the same note.

You explicitly choose each assistant’s folders and permissions. You can revoke its connection at any time.

A few useful answers

Are my notes sent to the assistants?

Only within the access you authorise. Content accessed by an assistant is sent to its provider and subject to its terms. Plan eligibility alone never grants access to your notes.

How do I connect an assistant?

Sign in to Mnemory Notes, open AI connections and follow the instructions for your assistant. Then choose your folders and permissions. Access follows your plan’s existing terms, including eligible trials. Your assistant must support custom connectors. An HTTP 400 error may still occur during initial discovery in Claude; its cause remains unconfirmed.

Can I use Notes without connecting an assistant?

Yes. Write, organise, search and export notes without connecting ChatGPT or Claude. Search and select sources on Mnemory infrastructure, then use controlled external generation only when requested.
